Im going to be seriously looking at a 23 foot RV in Florida. I live in the Los Angeles area. While it would be a lot of fun to drive it back, with my work schedule, it might be tough. Im a special education teacher, and it is hard for me to take time off. Exact cities are Largo, FL to Monrovia, CA.

I would fly to Florida, and if I like the RV, I will meet you there and take care of payment. I will take digital photos of inside and outside to document condition. You will get paid.  Im above board and honest and expect you to be also.

I need someone who has a good driving record and would take care of the RV as if it were his/her own. Honesty and responsibility are paramount. Im not going to hire just anybody. References are a plus. I can pay cash or paypal.

Please call/email at your earliest convenience.

what time frame are you talking? what about food and gas? I have actually done this before, only from Orange County CA to Bullhead City AZ and from Carson City NV to Orange County. unfortunately I cannot do this at this time. you need to consider getting the person back to FLA. highdesertranger

Are there any couples on the East coast coming to the RTR? If so one of you could drive your rig and the other drive the RV.

Everybody wins!!

Ok folks,

If you get out to Los Angeles, I could arrange a flight for you back to where ever. Im talking Southwest Airlines here, not luxury flying. Obviously, if you dont need a flight, that would be cheaper.  I usually go with lowest total cost, but hit me up with an offer. Im thinking November 14-December 12. Obviously, I have to like the RV and actually buy it first.

ok I am curious. what makes this RV special? you can't find something comparable in So Cal? mind you I am just curious, like the cat or my dog. highdesertranger

Frankly used RV's that sit around in the Florida sun with monsoon rains for 5 months a year that are not air conditioned 24/7 are full of toxic mold and should be avoided.

The dry air and little precipitation that one has in Southern California would be a better place to shop for a used unit.

Hidden mold is more of a issue than many realize.

You are looking at perhaps $800 + for fuel, plus pay for driver to get the RV to California.  Then what if it breaks down on the way?  Any used RV is a crap shoot.

It would be much safer to get one local, or out of Washington or Arizona. Lots of used quality units to be found around Quartzsite.

Hmmm... 23 foot. Is it a GMC? If so, Have Jim Bounds look it over before you buy it.
