I'm sure this has been addressed somewhere before, but I'm too lazy to go dig through older posts to find it. And it seems to me to be an important enough topic to get brought up once more.

I'm a big dude. Wide, that is. I have a fat ass,...no way around it, pardon the pun.

So much of the prefab RV product line is seemingly made for little oriental folks, judging by the sizes of everything I encounter. That's why, rather than shopping for an RV or a 5th wheel, I'm brainstorming how to build out either a cargo trailer or a box truck to suit my size differential.

Thus, to keep it as simple as possible, and rather than plumb for a dedicated toilet, I'm trying to find if there is a LARGE seat portable toilet that could serve my needs. I'm looking, ideally, for something that has essentially the same seat size as my home toilet, which is an elongated oval of 17x15in. To me, this is a MINIMUM standard that must be met.

Because this is an essential item, I'll not skimp on the price if it works.

Anyone have claim to being the Prince of Potties,...the Toilet Titan,...the King of Commodes?

Some do buy a regular seat they like and attach it to a 5 gallon bucket or other constructed toilet base.

Not sure what you weigh. I use a regular seat on my bucket toilet plywood box with a padded lid hinges to expose a toilet seat with a bucket underneath gamma lid with peat moss in a double plastic bag no no no pee only poop control the urge and NO SMELL

Thanks for the replies, but I already know that I have the option of fabricating a box with a seat under which is some form of receptical for use with kitty litter or whatever. And in fact, I may indeed go that route.

But I like to have options. And so, in case I might decide that I do indeed need a chemical portable,...I'm looking for info specifically on that.

There is a porta potty called Curve which is an elongated seat, runs about $160. Amazon and Walmart, campers world. Google elongated porta potty.

Forget about it. Build your own using bucket and seat of your choice.

The Thetford Porta Potti Curve 550E looks like it has a seat pretty close in size to a regular toilet.

+1 on what Zil said.

I have a regular toilet seat on a 5 gallon bucket.
