I just hit send on emailing my landlord a 22-day notice. I was planning to launch on May 1. Last week, I watched Bob's 15-year history video and he really got me on how I could be my OWN landlord and pay myself and not someone else. It was killing me...KILLING me to pay one more month's rent. So in 3 weeks...I jump!
All I have done to my van is tint her windows! I haven't even removed her rear seats. LOL! I have the basics covered--Sleeping bag for now and a memory foam mattress, a little stove and lantern. All I really NEED to get is a potty, a 12V charger for my phone and MAYBE a Little Buddy heater. That's all I really need to set sail and can pick up other things next month when I don't have to pay rent!

Must be a little bit of what freedom tastes like, huh?!
You all have taught me so much and in the next few months I will be putting it all into practical use!

I don't know how many rear seats your Miss Violet? has. When I had the 2nd row captains seats removed from my Safari I couldn't believe how much space they opened up. Any xtra space may help in your adjustment to mobile dwelling....I think? So congrats on making a break for it. Maybe our paths will cross at some point.
