So, driving down the road, I saw this... :exclamation:

And at first, everything looked good... :D

But then it wouldn't all fit in my refrigerator.

ROFL................................................Know the feeling well!

Ever had warm beer? Hits me harder then cold, but I do prefer it cold...

Looks like you've put your finger on the Number 1 problem of living in a van.  I'm surprised Bob didn't address this in his book . . .

You donate the beer and I'll make the barbecue!

Two choices.

1.  Buy a bigger fridge.

2.  Save some for tomorrow.   :p

Thanks for chiming in, guys! For the record I do intend this supply to last me until tomorrow... Next week, probably! But I couldn't help stock up when in the presence of adequate variety.

In addition to what's in the 'fridge I have another 12pk of bottles waiting to get rotated in. I threw out some food and also removed some condiments to make this much room (mayonnaise went in the cupboard, because as we all know, mayo is immortal). Gonna have to take it easy on the bumpy roads the next couple days.

Definitely watch out on the bumpy roads. When my son Ben was in Mexico he learned the hard way that bottles in an ice chest strapped in the back of a 4x4 truck don't fair well. He had to switch to canned bear of all things - and then he had to start drinking it warm also as he got tired of buying ice! The horrors of travel south of the border without a proper expedition rig - not sure how he had any fun at all!

alas to have such problems. on the other point, I prefer beer in bottles, but off road it doesn't travel well. expect an attrition rate around 30%. with cans this can be lowered to under 1%. highdesertranger

Thanks buddy. :D I understand all those words but I don't understand your meaning.... You're saying bottles will break off road? Haven't had that problem yet.

I have however gone through all that beer. Two weeks isn't bad right?

what happens is the loose their seal around the cap. if they are in an ice chest they are done, if they are in a refer it makes a mess in your refer, you need to find the suspects and put them out of their misery right away. if you know what I mean. highdesertranger
