Can you give us a quick description of the book?   :D Like title and subject?

Lisa,
Congrats on your first book signing! And you have a nice author's page on Amazon that shows you are quite prolific! (Forum folks -- just search for "Lisa Terry" within Amazon, and you'll see her books and a listing for her author page.)

We want more details of your day and also about meeting the two nomads!

Steampunk Zombie Western, wow! That sounds interesting :) I have four books, and I wasn't featuring any certain one more than the other today.
They are:
Moments.jpgMoment(s)
A mystery romance
Scottish rocker Julian McLane lives life as normally as possible. But fame can be lonely, which might be why he spent a year looking for the girl he caught making a wish behind the concert arena. His fans aren't happy to share him now that he has found Emilie--too bad their violent displeasure only pushes the couple together.
Emilie needs protection from rabid fans, so Julian convinces her to tour with him and his prank-loving bandmates so his security team can watch over her too. Julian thinks their coupledom is as right as a love song. But something's very wrong about murder victims wearing the band's concert bracelets. Someone seems intent on downsizing the fandom.

Julian holds a twisted mess of clues about the killer's identity, with every day bringing a different theory, and he's beginning to think finding the killer means losing Emilie forever.

spinthelove.jpgSpin the Love
Romantic Thriller
Sixteen-year-old Whispy Callahan lands in trouble thicker than Florida’s humidity when she plays a twisted game of Dare. Everything would have been fine if she hadn’t fallen for one of the player’s “targets” along with dredging up buried murderous tendencies. Forget the game—now Whispy needs to find her boyfriend’s murderer, but that might prove difficult since everyone thinks she’s insane. They could be right.

white star.jpgWhite Star
Paranormal romance
When Keira moves in with her sick grandfather, she's faced with the fact that death doesn't just take the sick. And sometimes people cheat it.

tricolor.jpgTricolor
Horror with a hint of romance
It's the typical problem of can't-stay-broken-up-with-your-boyfriend-when-his-parents-go-missing

Okay, so it might not be typical but O'Ryan's lovelife is knocked to the bottom of the priority list when a madman shows up wielding a knife.  O'Ryan has to meet his demands, or everyone she cares about will be toast, including the one she really loves. The easy answer is to call the police, but when her boyfriend's parents turn up dead, she realizes the man wasn't kidding when he said not to involve law enforcement. She has to beat him at his own game because giving into his demands will make O'Ryan a criminal too.

I met Storm6398 (yes, I know her by a different name but not sure on her level of privacy on internet forums).
And I met TMG51 (same thing).

Storm and I hung out and chatted for the entire signing. She is now reading the first book I wrote, White Star, and the one that means the most to me as well. After the signing we went to eat at Cracker Barrel and continued to fill each others' ears. Fun, fun fun!!!

TMG51 came, chatted a while with us, the three of us toured each others' vans, and he took my horror book, Tricolor.

That was the most successful part of the day.

I did meet people but not many book sales at all. That's okay, though. At least I can say I've done a book signing now, and I had fun doing it!

Could you tell I was surprised you came? You were very tricky not to post on the thread beforehand :)

Two of "my people" in one day was a huge treat! Thank you so much for coming.

I'd come but I'm in Cali.

I wrote some ebooks also but haven't been
writing / promoting lately
mainly due to my M-F regular office job.

What did you write? Amazon link?

I too had a great time meeting fellow travelers and touring each others rigs.

I too had a great time meeting fellow travelers and touring each others rigs. "White Star" is a great book - I am really enjoying it. Dinner, of course, was awesome especially with such great company. It's amazing when people who don't know each other get together for one thing and find out they have a lot of other things in common. And it was so cool to see how excited the young lady (and her friends) were to win the book in the raffle. So much fun!

I actually hadn't kept up with the thread at the time to see that Storm was coming, I was just headed this way and decided why not. But I have been accused of being a trickster before!

I've actually met a few interesting people already in this town. I might stay a couple days before moving further west.

Oh, you stayed? I could have offered you my driveway!

Ha when I left I didn't know what I was doing next but then I made plans. No worries. I had before given a sort of broad vandweller help offer, not sure where you are with your learning curve but if you want that second opinion before I leave I'll extend the offer again.

Yes, the toilet valve leak. That's still a problem. If you're around still, that'd be awesome! I'm off work tomorrow, so if you're available....

I work (remotely) weekdays, but with the time zone change I'm free after 4 PM. If that works for you, feel free to PM me a location or text it to the number on my card.

Glad to hear you survived your first signing.  I am sure it wasn't near as bad as you imagined.  Meeting up with a couple of the folks on here was just icing on the cake.

I'm just exhausted after an 8 hr day in the office of my computer company.
