Fifth wheel towing adaptor prototype? I can see them being produced any day now! Lol!

The heck with backing up! I'd be worried about stopping!

Yeah, looks like the roads were wet. He could end up with the 5th-wheeler leading the way.

That guy is way ahead of his time but, there is a company working on a wagon system that can lock the tongue for backing. In many ways it is a bit like the second trailer on a B Train. I B Train drivers take over 139 feet of cab and trailers through city streets better than some people can drive a SUV.

Here's a link to a company looking for applications for their system. I could see this on a camping trailer.

Or, If you have 3 minutes, take a look at this wagon video and imagine your home built on it instead of a combine header.

I don't understand going through all of that when you can just get a truck.

Seriously, are people now being born without a "that don't look right" gene?
You can look at the shape our country is in and still ask that question?

At least that 5th wheel is pretty much a midget size rather than the monster ones with UHV garages built into them I was seeing in Quartzsite LTVA this winter.

had me laughing, our state of our country and we have to ask that question............sorry but we have to put that to the state of the entire planet now!!! Ain't pretty anywhere out there.

worse that gets me when the wreck happens who else are they gonna take out? play with your own life, cool....play with other's lives not cool ya know.

Unfortunately, it's probably legal, but it's definitely not safe the way they have cobbled that rig together...I'd hate to see it swaying and wobbling in the wind when I was next to it on the highway!

But, semi-truck tractor, doubles and triples, use a 5th wheel converter dolly, and have done so for many decades:

But here we are talking about smaller applications, and there are companies that make sturdy, robust converter dollies for 5th wheel RVs and gooseneck trailers:
