I assumed I could not afford to travel as I have always wanted to, but I have been inspired by cheapRVLiving to finally start planning my dream road trip!

Jeannie, welcome. I have found that life on the road is actually cheaper than life in a house. At least it has been in my case and I travel all the time rather than staying put. Other than fuel, my expenses are small.

Hello and welcome from central Ohio!  When and where are you taking your dream road trip, or do you know yet?

I was thinking of visiting Great basin Nat'l park and the parks in Southern Utah. However I want to bring a dog and I'm not sure how much that will restrict my access. Eventually I hope to take many trips and see the western US and Canada.
