I like ice cream with lots of stuff in it, however rarely eat ice cream anymore so don't store it in that sense. But when I stop and get ice cream it's got fudge bits and candy bar parts in it!

I was forced to give up my precious Klondike bars when I got my Tiger because the freezer isn't cold enough to keep ice cream firm. :-( It's been a tough adjustment. I think my favorite ice cream, though, is Tillamook Mountain Huckleberry.

I 'm a plain vanilla coz I can add whatever topping or mixins I am craving at the time.I mostly make my own homemade ice cream but on the road you can still have fresh home made using the No freezer ice cream ball! I got a couple for the gkids and they love it.I made one of my own using a 1# plastic coffee can in a larger #3 can.Just put your ingredients in the little one (besure you seal well I use duct tape) fill the space between the 2 cans with crushed ice and salt ,put the lid on and roll around (the can) for 20 minutes or so_Open and ICE CREAM!

I always wondered if those things actually worked. Sure makes a 'game' of 'Kick the Can' worth it in the end :) I might have to try your DIY version this summer. I'll make a deal with the family little ones-I'll share if they do the kicking. It outta be good for fun camping memory.
