I hate it when that happens, and you really don't want to spend the money on a new pc.
Hopefully the "really old one" works for a long time to come, so you can continue to save for that "journey home."

Welcome back. I had the same thing happen to me earlier this year. My laptop died so I pulled out my old laptop, and that died two weeks later! So I bit the bullet and bought a new one. I only surf the internet and pay bills online so I always buy the cheap ones. The one im on now was about $220.

Yeah, it stinks when your computer dies! I had to shell out money for a new laptop after my old one died about 5 months ago. It is what it is. I'm getting ready to go work at Yellowstone in April. I can't wait! I'm looking forward to starting a new adventure in my life.
