Sorry for the long delay :)
A newbie that's not quite use to using forums and formats.
Kind of difficult to set up and maneuver for a first timer.
Yeah Fl. summers are brutal down here in Orlando!
The good thing is I am the proud owner of 1994 Chevy g20.
Set this one up for long term travel over 5 years past.
It has all the goodies a camper van should have.
Yes, it purrs like a kitten but runs like a lion :)
I have youtube account check out my bio @ Chevy G20 Stealth Camper Van Dweller
No vids  (kinda shy) but you may read about my luv for my van.
or visit Taz Mahal... Paul's  campervan blah, blah, blah :)
I do head out west every fall and attend gatherings (fifth year in a row)
Sorry again for not getting back in a timely manner because I do have manners :)

I feel that most travelers at one time or another has a "Van in constant sorrow".
Whether being broke down on the side of the road or just plain feeling blue.

Great fun !
Over the years, ( on other ventures ), I've discovered the desert is actually full of people, going back, and forth, looking for this, or that !
It is bustling with activity at various times and temps !

I do have an old econoline I must get reliable, but feel I need more sq footage to support the number of panels I will need for power.
..and the cost goes up !

Good luck to you !

Yeah, It gets more complicated as the years go by!
Dated Fords and Chevy may be apples and oranges but they're still both considered  "old reliables".
