Can anyone tell me how can I check battery health of Macbook? I wanna buy macbook from my friend and I want to check it's battery condition. Thanks in advance. I tried few methods on youtube but they didn't worked for me.

For those with less-than-normal batteries, replacements can be had for about $50 to $88, depending on the model, complete with tools and step-by-step instructions. I replaced the one in my MacBook Air and it was simple. Just don't drop any of the tiny screws.

Leave it to Apple to make swapping out a laptop battery difficult.

The laptops that I have owned, it was always a couple of slide latches and the battery comes right out.

Everymac.com is the bomb, great Mac resource site.

However, newer Macs aren't designed nor made to have just the battery replaced, typically you're looking at a new top case which is expensive.
Bad design on Apple's part, although IMO Apple should just be a HAAS company, Hardware As A Service, where you just pay monthly and get a new laptop every so often lol.
