I have several build threads.  I also have the advantage of having the time and skill to do most of the work.

There is a lot of great information here.  I love the way the tribe talked me through some bad ideas and pointed me in the right direction.

You can learn from my almost mistakes.   :D

@Gotsmart
I didn't realise that you had all those build threads , however I did stumble across the one where you installed your interior panels , I then copied mine off of yours and it worked out amazingly , I will definitely look into your threads as you do good work.

I wonder how much this extra insurance costs.
There's only one way to find that out for your specific vehicle and jurisdiction of registration/insurance.

Ask an insurance broker. If the first one tells you they don't have anything available like that, find another broker to ask!! And a third/fourth if necessary.

Automobile insurance is one thing that should be shopped around for anyways. And it should be done at 4 or 5 year intervals but not more often because you will get dinged for switching insurance companies if you do it frequently.

My first year with the new insurance company - forced on me by a stupid broker that asked the question in the wrong way to the underwriting department (see  here for the full drama - https://vanlivingforum.com/Thread-Insurance-Hades), was a little more than what I had been paying previously. The second year with them the cost went down substantially because I wasn't a new customer.
