Hey all, I have a 99 Ford Econoline van. I just filled it out to live in it and when I Drive did over 65 miles per hour I get a high pitch coming from the back left behind the driver side seat. And also from the back right of the passenger side seat. I have already tried opening the doors and turning on and off the AC. Nothing seems to work. A little help here?

I have seen tires, windows, roof racks, vents, body molding, loose bolts, low hanging wires, straps, pipes ~~~ all make a variety of sounds at speed.

Go under and start poking and pushing on things. Start with the exhaust system.

Have someone else in the van try to find it at speed.

A loose bolt, or a exhaust hanger with too much stress on it will do that.

many things could cause this. is it like a wind noise? do you have a rack? can you isolate it does it come from the inside or outside? if it's on the inside have someone else drive while you as the passenger try to isolate where it's coming from. got any pics, that might give us some ideas. highdesertranger
