Hi, I’m Eugenia... I have been watching videos and dreaming of going to RTR since 2018 and I’m finally in the position to pursue that dream further.
I began my vagabond life in 2018 in a 2008 Honda Pilot, took out the seats and built a bed and went down Route 66 for 3 weeks. I graduated to a small trailer that was pretty much stationary in the high desert in California, then graduated to a 2002 GMC Safari van that I had to rip out everything and I learned how to build out the inside completely. I traveled around the United States in 2019 and 2020 and now I am looking to upgrade my van to a newer model where I can stand up in a Ford transit, and hopefully by summer I will be traveling out of Ohio heading west. I am now 64 and grew up in California and the west, so I will meander around with my canine sidekick, Matilda. I look forward to meeting many of you at the RTR in 2022, if not before. Great to learn new things, so feel free to give me a shout out ?

Welcome to the CRVL forums Eugenia! Sounds like you've been having a great time! Keep us updated on your newest adventure!

To help you learn the ins and outs of these forums, this "Tips, Tricks and Rules" post lists some helpful information to get you started.

Most of our rules boil down to two simple over-riding principles: 1) What you post should provide good information (like your introductory post), and 2) Any response to someone else's post should make them feel glad they are part of this forum community.

We look forward to hearing more from you.

Welcome to the CRVL Forum   :)

I agree with the "wealth of information" this site has to offer.   Even a seasoned Nomad can learn a
new thing or two and if not for him/herself......things to pass along to others around the campfire that
could help them.   Always keep an eye open for new things & ideas to share with other Nomads.  It will improve everyone's lives.

Below are a couple of websites that may be helpful to you and others you meet.  The one at the bottom is a portal of info to make life on the road safer, more comfortable, and convenient.

Thanks so much! I’ve been watching the videos for a couple of years...such inspiration here!
See you down the road...
