 I am living in Florida now, but will be coming to Prescott Az in November.  I would love to know if anyone will be in that general area (within a couple of hour drive) that I could get together with to stay a week or so

Katy, welcome. The whole area north of Phoenix up to Flagstaff and over to Sedona and Prescott are popular camping areas.Keep trying, someone is liable to be there. For that matter, many other RVers will be in the area, so you'll be meeting all kinds of folk.

BTW, one thing to remember is Prescott is at 5300', and it's liable to be cold and snow in the winter. Not hardly Florida.
