Hi I am new to this forum. I am in the planning and learning phase and am getting more excited every day to live this lifestyle. I subscribed to youtube videos CheapRVliving and have watched several. I am at a place in my life where this makes the most sense to me. I feel such a peace when surrounded by nature and do not mind roughing it when need be. I am really hoping to find a group of other women who also do this alone. Men too but would like to learn from the women how you find the strength and resoursces when maybe homesick atleast when first starting out. I have made the decision a travel trailer is the best fit for me so am selling my camry to buy a used suv then a travel trailer. Since I will be long term, eventually full time living in the trailer I want to learn so much such as how to find free camping, safe places where other rvers may be. I am not a small woman so I am finding it a bit challening to find the right trailer as some of the bathrooms are so tiny I can't move much. Another thing I need is a walk around bed or atleast something I don't have to scoot myself out of but can just step out of. I am trying to take in too much and some days feel serious brain overload. lol
I live in California and have not seen much of the world at all at almost 50 years old. I have been to Vegas, Arizona and Utah. I am really drawn to lakes and oceans and rivers. I want to meet new friends who so please say hi and maybe tell me a bit about how it has been for you and I welcome any advice you may have. Stay safe and enjoy life.
