Hey Everyone

My name is Kay. I'm 31 and I'm ready for my life to begin. I did what I was told. I got a job out of school. I tried college, it wasn't for me. I went to a trade school and owned my own business for 2 years and ended up in the health care industries. I've never really found my niche. All I've ever known for sure is I want to travel.

My fiancee and I have had a little bit of bad luck..... My way of seeing it is as a lot of life lessons in bulk. We got thrown all the tough situation very early on in our relationship and have had to learn if we were going to let it tear us apart or grow closer together. We've done the latter with a lot of hard work.

The past few months have been a lot of decision making though. I came across one of Bob's videos a few weeks ago and it was almost as if everything clicked together. His video on living in the present not for the future (Jobs for Nomads Part 1) just seemed to speak to me. This is what I should be doing. It's what I've always wanted to do. A month later and I have an travel trailer.... It's way too big but it will get me on the road. And hopefully by September we will be full timers. Just have to wait for some disability things to be taken care of and to get a truck to haul our trailer. I look forward to learning more about the rv lifestyle and getting to know everyone

Most of your adult life has been post the 2008 collapse, I fear what the realities of this economy have done to your generation, and that's not even thinking about student loan debt.

I was full time for 3 and half years, and that was a great chapter in my life. The country I have been able to see have fundamentally changed me, and I think it will for you too.

Taking a family on the road short term is likely also good, but long term I think it is better to be 'rooted'. Find that (almost) perfect spot to build your dream as you travel.
