Hello, I am looking to build a camper shell onto my truck to do this part time as I work to pay off debt and to have something to live in while I help law enforcement, search and rescue and similar efforts.

I am also very tired of the city. All it's stress and all that stuff that I could curse and swear at.

I have planned out my shell on my short bed f250 and it's going to cost about $350 here in the phoenix area.

Thanks for the link. Currently when i go out, I either sleep in the back seat of the truck because it has shade and the mornings aren't that bad in the desert yet. This last weekend it got down to the high 40's to low 50's F outside of stanfield, AZ, but got up to the mid 90's in the shade, so at least 100 degrees F in the sun.

I have been using the solar charged little led lights for light inside the rig so that I don't have to open the doors and have all the lights on in the truck. I just put them outside on the roof and before I go to bed, I bring them in if i need some light. The dome lights are way too bright in the middle of a moonless night.

Hi there and welcome!

I'm going from a van to a truck, I'll be interested to see how yours turns out. Stay safe!
