25 years spent in the big house raising the family and being part of corporate America. 3 years ago my wife and I threw off those shackles, downsized the "stuff" filling our 3,000SF house into a 10x20 ft mini storage unit that we rarely have visited since. Very cathartic. Then we hit the road and traveled 15,000 miles circumnavigating the U.S. over 9 months with national parks/monuments being the only common denominators. Big time bucket list. Now in south FL assisting my elderly mother and mother-in-law. Have become a big advocate of simple living and it only took me 50+ years to figure out the beauty of not admiring "things" and focusing instead on experiences. Also, stay on top of the tiny home movement and related minimalist lifestyle daily through my Twitter feed found @TinyHomesRule(ofLaw). Happy to be a part of cheaprvliving.
