Thank you very much I just did a search on BLM,&nbsp;BUREAU OF LAND MANAGEMENT public land or "long term camping" 6 months for $40 bucks in the boonies of course with no results well first things first still making my 2001 Ford E350XL a reliable tool, wagoneer/Adrian

Welcome from New Mexico Adrian...good to have you with us....<br><br>I am not sure what you are saying about BLM but you probably won't find much regarding where you can go....Anywhere there is BLM land you can camp for up to 14 days in one spot. In most places the BLM has one LE ranger for thousands of acres and they will likely never even come by if you are keeping a clean and tidy camp. Be sure to close any gates you open since much of BLM land is under grazing lease by a rancher. Or do not camp where it is signed not to.<br><br>Figure that in the west (except in Texas where there is little, if any BLM land, it is mostly privately owned) any public land with no trees is BLM and anything with trees is USFS....excepting along rivers, that is often BOR land and is usually signed....BOR and Army Corps of Engineers are really great about providing cheap nice campgrounds along rivers, dams, etc.<br><br>Bri

The best place to find BLM information is this website - <a href="http://www.blm.gov/wo/st/en/prog/Recreation.html" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">http://www.blm.gov/wo/st/en/prog/Recreation.html</a> It's not very easy to use because each state has their own way of organizing their webpages but it should give you some idea of what is available. <br><br>&nbsp;Basically it's $180.00 for the winter season (8 months) at a Long Term Visitor areas which are in California, Arizona and Nevada. $40.00 if you just want to stay for 14 days. But the best deals are the free places on BLM land and national forests that Brian mentioned. There are also very inexpensive and sometimes free campgrounds managed by both agencies. Visit the state BLM offices and each national forest visitor center for more information.<br><br>&nbsp;Check this site too <a href="http://freecampsites.net/usa/" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">http://freecampsites.net/usa/</a>&nbsp; for places to stay cheaply or for free.

Hi Adrian, pretty much nobody that I can think of off hand. &nbsp;I think there are folks down Southern California and further up Northern California, but I can't really think of anyone in Frisco area. &nbsp;I'm sure there must be others in Frisco area, I'm just not in contact with them.<br><br>

"They say" you can get up to 22-24 mpg with full tires and keepin under 60 mph it's got 203.00 miles but runs strong it was a MV charter bus in Santa Cruz here in norcal bubble top is great for standing, if you are looking for a rig I recommend it you can find them for under 4000. The previous owner was using it for construction and dump runs. stay healthy and good luck, wagoneer
