Well it's early in the morning having coffee

As I sit here bored in the rain and nothing going on

Bored here too, no rain though. I should be doing SOMETHING (there is plenty). Too hot outside here in SE Texas and my get up and go has got up and went. I could be painting the laundry room and bathroom but painting is right at the top of things I really do not like to do and it is a big room 6x35 with a 1/2 bath attached.

Hope I find out soon when our son will let me leave for a few months. Been trapped here for about a year now. Going stir crazy. Can only think of being anyplace but here (has to be cool though).

Son and DIL moved in with us finally. They have a bid on their house. DIL will be taking care of my DW while I am gone.

Sitting and waiting. Tough to do...

I am in Missouri hot and humid here to i am stuck in a friend's driveway do to health problems hoping to hit the road in October before winter.

What's holding me here is doctors appointments and stuff like that and Missouri is my bace state..

Winter in Missouri = misery.
Summer in SE Texas = misery. We joking say we have 6 weeks of Fall, six weeks of Winter, six weeks of Spring and the rest is Summer. Not far from the truth.

Here is to you getting out before Winter and me getting out soon to escape Summer. I am hoping my DW's health holds so I can get to the RTR. We have been to 3 and last year is the first I missed. She won't be traveling anymore as she has frontal lobe dementia. This is the area of the brain that translates and transfers data back and forth. The changes of travel are too much for her. Enough about my woes.

I spent last winter in Arizona and Texas and that was interesting.

My favorite is the NW states. Winter in AZ is pretty good.

I spent the first part of last Summer in Alaska. Only got to do the top half before I got summoned back. Still want to do the Southern half.
