Hi everyone. David and Morty the dog here. I am planning on working 4 more years til' 66 1/2 but kick-started my plan last year. After a year of research and prayer and feedback from my spiritual adviser I sold my house in SE Michigan, had 3 months of huge yard sales beforehand, bought the RV I wanted; a 2019 Geo Pro 19FD with solar, 110 volt AC inverter, water miser, large tanks, tank heaters, excellent reviews even though it was only a year old concept and model... My tow vehicle is a 2012 heavy half-ton Ford F150 5.0 6 spd auto HD rear-end, coil leaf spring enhancers, 35 gal gas tank, full tow package (I love how it auto engine brakes on downhills) etc. etc. I came down to Tennessee to be near blood relatives I love and found an acre on the mountain near my favorite niece. Built my own utility pole for 50 amp RV service plus, septic tank in, land cleared to the amount I wanted and actually mowing grass now on land that has never seen a lawn mower before. I will be using this as my home base as I travel with the seasons. I have been a telecom software specialist for 30 years and have worked remote since 98'. With a Verizon Jetpack plus an AT&T wifi modem I have plenty of bandwidth and signal everywhere I plan on going and can VPN tunnel into the office I connect to. Looking forward to meeting everyone. Thanks to Bob for all the incredible resources.

Hi David - good idea to get an RV ... I bought a van and have regretted not having any luxuries... but, am getting along just fine with it, overall.

Hello to Morty and the human along with you...I sure hope that is a fiery sunset and not a forest fire!

And welcome!
