This is my third winter in the high mountain meadows of the Free People's Republic of Colorado living in my 93 Dodge Grand Caravan LE (the L is for Luxury...power door locks in the living room, that kinda thing).  Nellybelle is the first of her kind.  An Urban Expeditionary Vehicle (UEV).  I do the cities along the northern front range with the option to head into the mountains for forays as I see fit.  I am a young retiree, barely 60.  I've got all my social media wide open and there's a decade or more of stalking you could consume yourself with if you're so inclined.  I don't run in packs or head south for the winter.  I use my Mr. Heater and a big azz can of propane to ward off the elements.  Maybe I'll fall into this climate controlled nomadicism someday, but my long term goal hasn't changed, even on the event of the death of my wife overseas a few years ago.  Tiny home on a small patch of land in the shadow of one of these majestic mountains.  I'd prefer a foundation.  #hoboheretic
Enjoy.

3rd winter, ya must be doing it just right, alrighty! Keep on enjoying. Are you familiar with David & Leah Dimand up in high country at "Oppenheimer Ranch Project" (has a YT channel) there in Colorado?
They're into permaculture & homesteading and could be a great resource for you.
Good luck, and welcome to CRVL.
