We have a van of four:
Chris (me)
Kristin (my wife)
Daisy (tiny dog)
Judy (young & friendly dog)

We are living happily in a '98 Dodge 3500 extended body with a tall hi-top. The van is "Nessie" because of the three distinctive roof bumps of the vents and skylight I installed.

I have happy memories of winters in Key West in my mid 20's, and am relieved to be reliving the dream in my 30's with my new pack.

I have blogged forever at 721pm.blogspot.com and I Instagram sometimes @vans_bikes_dogs

I look forward to meeting more of my people. The tribe.

Best Wishes,
Chris Harne

Hello and welcome to CRVL.  I've only been a member since 12-15 and I still sometimes feel as if i'm welcoming someone into another persons home.  Feel free to tell us about yourselves and your travels.  I'm currently an apt. dweller with a 1991 Ford Ranger 4x4 and a Viking pop up.  I have a little dog that likes to ride like a hound dog with her ears in the wind...so much that  she is even leashed in the truck with me holding one end.  I had a little dog that once jumped right off my legs out a p'u' window,  we were ging about 45mph ...other than being covered in stickers and shook up he was o.k.  Right after that he rode from al to tx without ever sticking his head out the window...I guess he learned his lesson   :)

I HOPE YOU GUYS POST PICS. OF YOUR RIG AND TELL US HOW YOU'VE RIGGED IT OUT {NOT YELLIN' AT YA'LL}...... HIT CAPS BY ACCIDENT....TOO LATE NOW.........HAVE A GOOD WEEKEND    TJB & Queeie aka Killer

Welcome! Second that request for pics, please.

Thanks for the welcomes - I'm excited to finally get on the forums. This site has been a major inspiration starting almost ten years ago now. I even traveled around coast to coast in a Festiva with Kristin and Daisy, feeling emboldened by Ghost Dancer's writeup. http://www.cheaprvliving.com/live-ford-festiva  <---- Heard!!!

We've been out a month now, going on many more. Posted up in Santa Fe on the way toward everywhere else. Slow and steady.

Here we are in Key West. I know some covetable spots there. Was a vandwelling bicycle mechanic for maybe a year worth of winters all together. Also have an in with the pedicabs!
