Hi all,
I'm not yet a vandweller, but hope to become one part-time within a year. My partner isn't interested in RVing around the country, so I'll be going solo. I'd love to RV full-time, but I love her more. Luckily, she is very supportive of my adventures.
Because I can't sell my house or our only car, funds for this venture are very limited. I hope to have $2000-$5000 saved by next year so I can pay cash for an older used RV.
I like the compact size and mobility of Class Bs, but may end up with a small Class C because they are cheaper and plentiful in my area.
I'd love to get a box van (is that to moving van type?) and build in everything I need, so I can get exactly the layout I want, but I'm not currently that handy.
I plan on doing a lot of boondocking in free campgrounds and on BLM land.
Thanks!
