Hello everyone!

I've been compulsively watching youtube videos for about a month or so and I am trying to figure out how to make this lifestyle work for me!  I'm so glad there's this forum here.  To say I'm a beginner is an understatement. We never camped as kids growing up and I only went with a friend once about 20 years ago.  I'm going to begin trying to sleep in my car, a Toyota Camry, once the weather cools down a bit here just to get a feel for things.  My landlord agreed to extend my lease just until the end of March 2017, so I'm going to be working towards vehicle dwelling by then.  I'm in my early 40s, nowhere near retirement, but I need to slow down from the hustle and bustle of my current lifestyle.  I'm just exhausted and want to live more simply.  Whenever I ask myself "what do I want to do with my life?" the only answer that I come up with is "to travel".  I never thought I could make a living/survive just by traveling but I am encouraged to see that so many of you are doing exactly that!  It's hard to reprogram my thinking from the way I was brought up to believe that I must work hard until retirement, save up my 401k because there won't be SS for my age group according to my family, but I am tired of living for the future and want to live in today.

So much more to say, but that's all for now.   :shy:
