Hello from a soon to be part timer!

I'm a single 50yo woman planning to hit the road soon with my little old sleepy dog.

I have an older Jeep Liberty. I took the back seats out and made a low sleeping platform with room to sit up straight.

Storage will be modest. I'm a minimalist and am gathering compact/budget gear only.

The goal is to explore in shorter trips first while I get my feet wet, with the flexibility to return home in case my elderly parents need my help.

I'll be leaving as soon as I finish saving up my emergency fund!
