Greetings & salutations all.
First of all let me drop the bomb. I am 30 years old, male and a recently decided to move back to my parents and pay cheap rent (yes, I actually pay rent) and, to be frank, accomodations are less than accomodating. I don't want to live here and I don't want to pay someone else's mortgage.
Van dwelling is an idea that has always intrigued me. While my current vehicle is a small car, I have recently done a lot of research into dwelling in a van. I read this site nearly cover to cover before entering the forums.
This place is a gold mine
I live in Canada so I plan to get the winter in at the parents while I shop for the van I will see the continent with. I love to shop, currently have a well paying job and really need a project to work on. I hope to get the van this winter and convert it when the weather gets nice in April, so I have enough time to find the perfect van and find out exactly what I want to do with it. I want to have a meticulous plan laid out before I start serious fabrication.
Pardon me if I lurk a ton and ask a bunch of questions.
Nice to meet you all.
-Zack
