Hello vandwellers!<br /><br />It's great to find a forum devoted to this lifestyle. &nbsp;I'm living in a house now and making final plans to sell and go mobile. Many years ago I lived in a van for about 6 months and I have never forgotten the happiness and freedom that I experienced at that time. &nbsp;Though nearly penniless, I had more fun and felt more alive than I ever had before or have since. Most people think I am crazy for planning to live in a van. &nbsp;They can't understand the yearning in my soul for a life of simplicity. <br /><br />There is much to do before I set out.&nbsp;I am glad to be here and hope to find help and support for my upcoming adventure.<br /><br /><br />

Thanks for the warm greetings. &nbsp;I knew there were good people who had the sense to leave the grind and seek a better life and now it seems I have found some.<br /><br />I really wish I was ready to start my van life now, but I have to sell my house first and get rid of all the stuff. &nbsp;My goal is to be ready to roll next spring. &nbsp;I think I'll start a new thread relating to conversion while living in the van. &nbsp;I won't have time or money to buy and convert the van until the house sells.
