<p style="margin: 0px;">My biggest worry is health insurance,&nbsp; I am a nurse and have good insurance through my work,&nbsp; if Ichange my lifestyle and travel,&nbsp; where do I get health care ?&nbsp; I am uneligable for affordable insurance due to family genetic issues!!&nbsp; HELP.&nbsp; is there any way??</p><p style="margin: 0px;">&nbsp;</p><p style="margin: 0px;">Twiggy</p>

<p style="margin: 0px;">That's been heavy on my mind as well.&nbsp; Right now, as a nurse, our insurance has a very high deductible and is basically major medical.&nbsp; I am into natural health and preventative care but don't have any chronic or genetic issues.&nbsp; Our insurance premium has doubled or more since Obamacare became a threat.&nbsp; Obamacare will be Nocare since few Dr's will treat Medicaid now, millions more will be on Medicaid (aka Obamacare)&nbsp;and there will be NO Dr's to treat them.&nbsp; My suggestion is to do whatever it takes to keep yourself healthy with vitamins, herbs, alternative medicines,&nbsp;proper weight, exercise, and STRESS Reduction.&nbsp;&nbsp; Getting out of nursing is a great plan for stress reduction!&nbsp;&nbsp; I do hope someone comes up with something here, but if we're not eligible for Medicare (which is also going broke) I think we're screwed.</p><p style="margin: 0px;">Rae</p>

<p>well,&nbsp; with my genetic problem I need annual expensive screenings,&nbsp; and occasional cat scans... etc.&nbsp; had open heart once and my need something similar in the future.&nbsp; blah blah blah,&nbsp; I would give anything for an herbal healthy lifestyle cure.....LOL</p>

<P>&nbsp;&nbsp; If the government would get out of health care we might stand a chance. Remember, emergency care isn't refused at this point. Once you're retired, other than medicare, I don't know how anyone affords ins.</P>

<p>Yes, yellerstone, it's people in your position that have the biggest hurdle.&nbsp;And its not just herbal I was eluding to it was a healthy lifestyle.&nbsp; I hope the gov't gets out of healthcare, then maybe insurance will again be affordable.&nbsp; Right now, everything is expensive and getting more so each day with every mandate the gov't imposes.</p>

<p style="margin: 0px;">well,&nbsp; hopefully I can figure it out someday.....&nbsp; I may be on disability one day....</p><p style="margin: 0px;">hope not!!!!&nbsp;However,&nbsp; I LOVE , my job,&nbsp; so just grateful now for my healthcare,&nbsp; when I retire,&nbsp; medicare hopefully will do....</p><p style="margin: 0px;">I guess I may have to wait till 65.... health willing,&nbsp; that is my delima,&nbsp; I want to live life before my body gives out.....</p><p style="margin: 0px;">as for the healthy living,&nbsp; I feel I do a pretty good job, despite an occasional margaretta or two....</p><p style="margin: 0px;">&nbsp;</p><p style="margin: 0px;"><img border="0" align="absmiddle" src="/images/boards/smilies/crazy.gif"></p>
