Hi folks. Yes, I got the call. Headed to Ft. Worth tomorrow midmorning, arrive fri afternoon after stopping overnight somewhere along the way. The job appears to be smack dab in the middle of Ft Worth, ok N Calhoun St. I also found a Rv park that I can afford about 15 miles away. I'm told it is a year long construction project, high end high rise commercial work. I am also bringing along a tent and my backpacking gear, as well as mechanical and woodworking tools, in case someone in the area wants to do a weekend gtg or van build.

The truck, fifth wheel, and scoot. Ill take pics soon

Jeez, what a crazy day. I got an hour from home, and realized I forgot my SS card. Had to turn around and go back and get it. Just south of Tuscaloosa, Al, I blew a tire on the fifth wheel. Got it changed on the highway with a spare that had a few better days, so decided to limp to a walnart and get a tire. $122 PLUS mounting and balancing .... for ONE tire! A month and a half ago I got 2 tires mounted and balanced in Fla for $147!!! I passed on walmart and went to a tractor supply and bought a premounted tire and rim for $129. During all this, the hitch rack holding my scooter broke free. I'm SO glad I decided to put safety chains on it, or id still be sweeping up scooter pieces. God bless the inventer of bungees and ratchet straps. I'm 'stopped for the night just over the Alabama /Mississippi line at a loves. More adventures tomorrow!
