I'm constantly tinkering for improving things. Previously, I had used a hanging shoe rack for putting various stuff into each slot. But every time I braked hard enough while driving, stuff would fly out...frustrating.

So I found this Hanging "PEVA 8-Compartment Hanging Sweater Bag" at The Container Store for $29.99. This bag hangs down from a cross-bar via velcro, and is fully enclosed in see-through plastic with a zipper through the middle to keep things inside. I just installed this in my van next to the rear doors next to the bed. I use this Sweater Bag to hold lightweight items like towels, small pillows, and place the heavier items on the bottom slot on floor.

I then had another cool idea. At the same store, I bought 2 "Reisenthel Magazineboard" for $14.99 each, and placed this hanging to the left of the 8-Compartment Hanging Sweater Bag. The Magazineboard is also suspended by the same cross-bar, and is held in place via a short length bungee cord (with hooks) inside the 2 holes on top wrapped around the cross-bar. I placed the 2 Magazineboards facing opposite sides so that the pockets open outwards in both directions. I now use the Magazineboards to place slippers inside, and various other small items.

Check out the pictures which you can better see what I've described. The pictures are shot vertically by my camera, but unfortunately, the pics are sideways in this posting.

I swear I shop at The Container Store and Bed Bath & Beyond store more than any single dude should ! No, I don't go there scoping out girls. I've spent literally hundreds and hundreds and hundreds at these stores, and various other stores. I'm a bit of an organizational freak, haha !
