Need a battery for our 22ft. TT. Any reason not to replace with a good quality deep cycle marine group 27??
thanks Geoff

We need more information. Will it stay on the trailer? Do you have solar or a generator? How long will you go without charging? What kind of loads do you have?

I have a 27 on my trailer and it is not enough, it goes down fast. I'm going with a 31 or probably two 6-volt golf cart.

Is that what was in it before and was it sufficient, then yes, do it. There is a ton of information needed for appropriate battery selection and sizing, unless the previous in-kind replacement battery worked fine and finally just got weak and died.

yep we need more info. a 27 is a pretty small battery and one of them does not give you a lot of power. highdesertranger

For the same price, or sometimes less, a 29 will give more ah's. A wallyworld dual purpose 29 has 110 hours, I don't know about the discharge rate, for under a hundred bucks. And it can also start your motor if needed.

Until I can afford Li-ons, I'm going with a bank of 4-6 everstart29dp.
