Hello.<br>My name is Christi.<br>I am in Florida. <br>I the past month, I have gotten rid of my Jeep and bought a Ram truck. I then got robbed when I bought an old StarCraft TC...had frame rot. $$$ down the drain. All works inside, so I've put it on Craigslist. Can't do to someone what that guy did to me, so I MAY get 1/2 of my money back out of it. Lessons learned <img src="/images/boards/smilies/smile.gif" border="0" align="absmiddle"><br><br>So, I have just bought another camper. A nice little Palomino (fits my short bed). It's small, but it is just for me and my pooch...so, it's perfect!!<br><br>I have paid attention to due diligence (now)...research, research, research!! This place has been a wonderful and entertaining source of valuable information!<br><br>I plan to hit the road Oct. 1st....so much to see, do, enjoy!<br><br>

Welcome Love/hate Florida (chuckle) I hate to point out the fact that you got robbed when you followed with "research research". This is a great learning curve. You actually bought it with eyes open but did not see. consider this to be an expensive PLUS. I hope you find your time here rewarding and beneficial. Also enjoyable.

Hi Christi, I'm sorry about the lemon. I bought a 1972 Argosy (the painted Air stream) for a low price with the plans to make it nice. I didn't get suckered. But, I have decided I really don't want to spend a bag of money on something I probably won't ever get my money back on.
I have a nice motor home. So, I don't need the camper trailer even though, I bought a fantastic fan, water heater, heating furnace and more. I am ready now to sell it at a loosing price.
Maybe one day I will get smart and advertise it for sale.
I hope you enjoy your truck and camper. It sounds like fun making it like you want it.
