So glad I was pointed in this direction by a beloved person.
Made a post or two then saw the intro forum, so good manners means SAY HI!
Due to bizarre events and synchronicity, I do believe this is the lifestyle right for me now.
Very grateful already for info shared here.
I am a soft glass lampwork artist, hence the user ID.
Can't wait to mix oxygen & propane again and light my Nortel minor torch, then use over 50 lbs of Moretti glass rods I've hung on to for over a decade!

Welcome welcome. I hear you might have found a van :)

Thank you!
I may indeed, and figure I will have to steal a box of business cards to pass out whenever I get green eyed envious eyeballs on my ride!

Welcome " home " silverglass. Hope you will post some pics of your glass art works, after you look around all the forums and get settled in.

Well local galleries bought nearly all my work.
I make glass beads then turn them into goddesses, jewelry, bead pens, god anything.
Just Google lampworking and you will see what I do.
I've still got reams of beads but never needed pics since galleries took it immediately!
Maybe I need to let go of more and raise money for a van...

Question:

You mention lamps...Are you gonna be making neon signs?

Cool hobby...

And welcome!

No, its called lampworking, using an oxygen/propane flame or MAPP gas canisters.
Made tons of beads and jewelry and sold straight to art galleries years ago.
But I've still got plenty left...guess I need to sell more now.
