Hi all.&nbsp; My name is Nick, and my wife and I are preparing to full time within the next few months.&nbsp; I started out reading all the articles on this site and joining the vandweller yahoo group, and then I found this place.&nbsp; I still can't get over how much full time vandwellers there are around.&nbsp; I've always been a city boy, but nothing in the world sounds better than hitting the road, working when I have to, and just enjoying life.&nbsp; <br><br>Unfortunately, I have some student loans to take care of(just about the finish my associate's degree in paralegal studies), so I will be chained to the Portland Area for at least a year or so, but then I look forward to joining the ranks of the snowbirds.&nbsp; I might ask some dumb questions now and then, but I promise to at least do a cursory search to see if the answer is already present.&nbsp; <br><br>

Welcome, I vandwelled on vancouver island for 6 winters, around the Sooke area. I know what 3 months of rain is like, I had to keep a bit of heat on all the time, to keep mold out. I'm fairly new to this group also. Its great, theres always some new ideas around. Talk again.
