I have read here for quite a while and thought I would sign up. Better to interact with some like minded folks.
Been searching ads for a while now to find something that suits me to take on the road for an extended period of time. I have a 1995 Ford E-250 that I used for a number of years in my work and needs some TLC  but thinking I will either find a Class B at a decent price or a 3500 Chevy van.  You would think anyone that has either of those think they own a gold mine.
Speaking of which, I want to go back out west (from Texas) and do some more prospecting and rock hounding. Did both in Arizona and California years back. Did some stream panning in Colorado long years ago. Kept thinking I would make it back to Montana some day and dig for Sapphires. Along with photography, maybe some fishing for trout, seeing sights I haven't seen and more of the ones I have.
Maybe I can make the next RTR at Quartzite.  I have a big bucket list and time is wasting.

dang no one has given you a hello. so I will be the first, welcome. I am a prospector so a double welcome. come to the RTR we can do some digging. highdesertranger

Welcome aboard Dennis !
I was just going to say you need to talk with HDR ....
Good lick with the rig search.

Dennis! Welcome to the CRVL forums! I sure hope we'll see you in Quartzite at the RTR!

To help you learn the ins and outs of these forums, this "Tips & Tricks" post lists some helpful information to get you started. We look forward to hearing more from you.

Thanks y'all for the welcome! There's a lot of helpful information on these forums and I'm still reading.
hdr...will try to make that happen, thanks. Should be a few spots left to dig in the area.

well last year was to wet to run the dry washer. next year I will expand the search. highdesertranger

And not enough water to run anything except a drywasher? I know what you mean.

I can run my spiral wheel, blue bowl, and have a panning tub. but that's it, so basically just finishing tools. for bulk yes the dry washer is it. highdesertranger

Hello and Welcome.  I'm a transplanted Texan myself living in L.A. that's Lower Alabama.  There are some more Texans on here and you'll probably hear from them too.       :)        Texas Jbird
