Though pricey, the 8 oz size would be great for breakfast cereal and not have any left over&nbsp;to refrigerate. I would store unopened milk in a iceless cooler just to keep it at or below room temp (70 F according to the description).

Milk will go bad (not always notably) very quickly, minutes at room temperature. Most grocery stores sell a packaged "fresh" milk in small packages that store at room temp. Dry milk or canned milk are also options.

Horizon makes milk boxes in 8 oz sizes. I know walmart's carries them and they come in choc, vanilla, strawberry and regular white milk flavors. they are a bit costly though.
