Hello New Nomadic Friends !
January 2019 I made the decision to travel across America to square dance in each state. My condo sold to first buyer & I was on my way. Car camping in crv & absolutely loved it. While getting ready for second trip out, my back was broken in an auto accident August 2019. While recovering I have discovered Cheaprvliving, Bob & all the other fun dwellers. Now I am waiting to be released from doctor so I can meet all you folks that I see on the you tube ! Looking forward to joining the community ! ! GG

Welcome to the CRVL forums Geirgis Girl! Good wishes for a go-ahead from your doctor. Hope to see you out here on the road soon!

To help you learn the ins and outs of these forums, this "Tips, Tricks and Rules" post lists some helpful information to get you started.

Most of our rules boil down to two simple over-riding principles: 1) What you post should provide good information (like your introductory post), and 2) Any response to someone else's post should make them feel glad they are part of this forum community.

We look forward to hearing more from you.

Hello,
I was wondering if there is a Las Vegas van community? I’m new to this site. I’ve been living full time in my van since January 1, 2019 in Las Vegas. I’ve had ups and down with my then new lifestyle but it’s been one of the best decisions I have ever made. 2020 started my second year and it has been challenging. Since I am a city dweller and now due to the virus shutting down the city my routine has been halted. As the city opens up I now would like to find a van community here in Las Vegas. I found living this life alone during a time of crisis to be lonely.

Hi Krs
You shouldn’t be too lonely if you’re familiar with LV. Because aside from the lockdown there is no reason in the world not to take part in everything you would if you lived in a house/condo/apartment. I don’t know what your interests are but I just live a normal life and people don’t have to know where I live (none of their business) but I have a lot of hobbies that I take part in in groups/classes/gym/etc. Nomads are great people but if you’re in one place long term you don’t have to only be with them.
