My husband and I are learning about living while traveling. We are in the planning and building stage. Can't wait to get my snowbird wings?

Welcome to the CRVL Forums  :)

Congratulations on making the move to travel and get a new perspective on life.

As Mark Twain once wrote:  "travel is fatal to prejudice, bigotry, and narrow-mindedness".
Perhaps this owes to not being landed and the worries that derive from protecting the physical
wealth & possessions one has amassed.  When all is contained in a mobile dwelling a minimalist
life style a person can realize what Twain was talking about.

There are two links below which may be helpful to you in building out a rig and then once on the road
the other may be quite helpful.

All the best !

Welcome to the CRVL forums monnarush! Keep us updated on your progress!

To help you learn the ins and outs of these forums, this "Tips, Tricks and Rules" post lists some helpful information to get you started.

Most of our rules boil down to two simple over-riding principles: 1) What you post should provide good information (like your introductory post), and 2) Any response to someone else's post should make them feel glad they are part of this forum community.

We look forward to hearing more from you.

How long before you think you can be a snowbird? I’m a newbie also... when I see a couple -20 degree nights and not making it above zero on Thursday I want to just go. But instead I’ll pull my truck into the firehall up town and keep doing the upgrading and fixing up...
You say your building, are you doing a van build?
