As a kid, grew up on 70s AM pop. As a teen, enjoyed classic rock, result of exposure.
With my first car, 1971 Camaro, driving and tunes went together. Cassette tapes were the thing, and being a Ktel kid, would record my own on Sony CrO2 bought by the case.
One of my favorite self made cassettes, recorded from albums, I called Drivers Seat.
This was my crank it up to 11, raised heartbeat, concert in my Camaro, and the speed would just increase by itself without realizing it.

Here are some of those tunes from my fav cassette. Playing them today, takes me back to that time, cruising with my girl, and I'm 17 again, always. This music is my fountain of youth.
May it rejuvenate you as well.
Or possibly invigorate, if before your time.

This is great! I worked my way through the University of Chicago in the late 70s, cocktail waitressing in a disco downtown. It was a 4 o'clock bar, so after it closed, the DJ and I would take a taxi to Evanston, where they stayed open till 6, then I hopped the train back to the South Side and caught a couple hour nap and went to class. Memory lane!
