Free Solar Panels

When I first started with solar 6 years ago,I bought some Harbor Freight panels.As the price for panels has come down,I have added to my system.I now have 2000 watts of panels on my shop.Alas,(how often do you hear someone say alas?)I have no more room on my roof.I have 18 panels @15 watts each that I need to move so I can add some more 100 watt panels.Anyone who wants them is welcome to them.I live about 20 miles south of Branson,Mo.

These are the old type Amorphous panels and as you know they degrade a lot in the first couple of years.I haven't tested the output lately,but I doubt they are generating more than 200 watts.The reason I'm getting rid of them is because I can put 6 100 watt panels in the same space.That will give me 2500 watts which should be suffice...Sutffic...all the power I need.I can get new 100 watt panels on ebay for $112.I don't know what brand they are,but then I also don't know all the different brands I have now.I have tested them under optimum conditions and have been pleasantly surprised that they all put out about 10% more than they are rated.I am using 5 30A pwm controllers.I can't tell any difference between my $40 controllers and my $18 controllers.This is just my results and someone else may have had a totally different experience.We are all sharing what we know in hopes we will all benefit.You can have all the panels if you want them,although I don.t think they would be worth going much out of your way for.
