Inside, I have 2' x 3' of clear kitchen counter top. This can be used for cooking, or any other type of work area.
For a chair inside, I have a vintage high back, executive office chair, which is on wheels, swivels, rocks, and reclines. Very comfortable. For eating or using my laptop, or other type of work tables, I have 2 wooden TV trays, and a lap desk.
I don't normally take my chair outdoors, but the TV trays and lap desk work both inside & out.
For outside I have a umbrella rocking chair, which folds into a tube, and a couple of folding toilets/seats/tables/footrests which also fold into tubes. I opted for these, so I would have the option of having an outdoor toilet in addition to my indoor one, the multi usability, and the small space needed for storage.
In addition, my prize yard sale find was an accordian gateleg table similar to the one pictured below. Folded it is 24" x 30" x 3.5" and fully opened it is 24" x 120" x 30" tall. (10 feet long!) The width is adjustable between 30", 60", 90", & 120". Very versatile, and plenty long enough to use for both a kitchen and dining table all in one. It is also perfect for setting up at swap meets and such.
