Fitting a chair into the standard length van

<img class="bbc_img" src="http://sphotos-b.xx.fbcdn.net/hphot...00x200/540773_406797859401057_562740425_n.jpg" rel="lightbox"><br><br>To the left are the rear doors of the van.&nbsp; To the right is the homemade bulkhead wall.&nbsp; I put this chair on a lid that hinges forward so I can get to the cooking appliances behind it as well as the&nbsp;storage underneath...<br><br><br><br><img class="bbc_img" src="http://sphotos-b.xx.fbcdn.net/hphot...0x200/409692_406798026067707_1307412091_n.jpg" rel="lightbox"><br><br>By the way, the top picture is a more accurate representation of colors (due to the high light from snow, I had to fix it)..&nbsp; But at least u can see the storage box and cooking appliances.&nbsp; This space used to be used for the Honda generator but I ordered a large custom made diamond plate box to house the generator and Mr. Heater water heater system so it seemed like a good idea to use the hole!<br><br>The chair is a $12 boat chair (quite wide!) and fits my 290 butt comfortably...&nbsp;<br><br>More details are on my blog...<br><br>
 
I could have made it swivel but the space is so limited, it would have only allowed for a couple of degrees of movement in each direction.&nbsp; The "real" twin bed is nice but it sure limits space in here!<br><br>V.T.
