"O Holy Night" hands down. It is not over done and I like the emotions I get from it.

Ever heard David Bowie's version of Drummer Boy ?
As Emily LaTisha on SNL used to say..."That's Very Different!...never mind"

Just for Bob...no, it's not THAT song! (well, not exactly!)

It's just not Christmas without Bing Crosby's White Christmas

I don't want it to be white though :p

Trans-Siberian Orchestra - Wizards in Winter

This one has good audio.

BC Guy you beat me too it. I have always wanted to see TSO. check this out live "Christmas Eve/Sarajevo", . not that I don't like the old classics, but a little rock and roll is good too. highdesertranger

Bah, Humbug!

I agree with Dr. Johnny Fever on the old WKRP in Cincinnati:

"Christmas.  A time of Peace on Earth, Good Will towards Man, and bad music on the airwaves!"

Fortunately, my radio has a slot for a USB drive, so I don't have to listen to that crap at all.

Grumpy Regards
John

I have a personal connection to "You're a Mean One Mr. Grinch". I knew Thurl Ravenscroft, the man who sang the song. I got to hear him sing it in person on a number of occasions over the years. The last time was at his 90th. birthday party back in 2004. His voice was every bit as good at 90 as it was when he first sang this song nearly 40 years earlier.

"I'm dreaming of a white Christmas" was the signal to evacuate Viet Nam. It has more than one special meaning to lots of people.
