"Over the past 40 years, Escapees has fought to uphold full-time RVers’ right to vote; defeated unfair RV-specific taxes; protected overnight parking rights; and stood up to city, county, state, and federal regulations that threatened our personal freedoms.

By working together, the RVing community has the ability to shape regulations affecting issues such as healthcare, employment, insurance and voting. Participating in the survey is crucial to Escapees advocacy of your rights and to the protection of the RVing community as a whole.

Together we can let manufacturers, companies, employers and government agencies know that RVers are a powerful demographic.

Me too. I just hope it makes things better understood but most likely it will end up a market study or get in the hands of politicians wanting to get more donations.

Quick n easy, no names just state and zip code.

Done. We need to make the powers that be know that we exist.

Thank you, Cyndi, for bringing this to our attention. I wonder why there was no mention of the survey at RVillage?

That can be a two-edged sword.

If you look at the general demographics of Escapees, and you read their boards, the majority of members aren't living in a van by the river.  Thar's a lot of money being spent by them.

My point is that as we rise in the awareness of the federal and state bureaucracies . . .
The fundamental driving force of any bureaucracy is to increase its power and control.

Excapees pretty much controls most elections in their home county in Texas and has a pretty good voice in Texas politics as a whole. Most likely trying to get national level issues resolved by reminding politicans how many votes and money decisions they influence now that they have expanded their focus to other states. They have helped defeat several laws and taxes that could have had negative affects on RVers.
