20428.jpg My brother and I bought an 1996 36 ft, holiday rambler endeavor with 80,000 miles on it. One problem run into is it over heating.

The radiator new weighs 20.4 lbs, with all the gunk in the one we removed weighed 28 lbs..

looks like someone used stop leak. a lot of stop leak. hope the reason is not a major issue. highdesertranger

Older radiators tend to be copper brass, newer ones tend to be aluminum. Aluminum is significantly lighter.

Also into the equation comes the proliferance of plastic tanked radiators, which obviously weigh less than an all metal radiator.

But that is certainly an ugly gunk filled radiator. 7.6 pounds is a lot of gunk however.

Hope you flushed the block as best as possible, as well as the heater core.
