Edit posts?

I thought I read somewhere on here, but now I can't find it, that u can only edit posts for like an hour after u post it, is that right?

I think it used to be five minutes and now it's fifteen... or something. I might have the intervals wrong but it isn't a long time.

Thanks u guys, if i post something incredibly stupid hopefully I will realize within minutes or I will contact a moderatorthe question came from thinking maybe I should not have posted generally where i wanted to go. Upon thinking about it, it is fine. The decision to post that or not depends on so many factors in my thinking, life experience, age, ect. I am old, grumpy, have a scary dog, am parinoid, move all the time and keep everything in my vehicle and barely talk to anyone so I should be fine
If I don't post it I don't get people's experience so I will leave it. Thanks!
