So much still to do but yesterday and today I put almost everything in the trailer that will be coming so we can double check space before putting up the partition walls and shelving.  Good idea.  Everytime I do this I find better ways to fit things.  Today was a biggie - a change in the bed layout.  Also, I finally have the space measurement allowed for the water tank over the axle near the batteries.  I couldn't order a tank until I knew our available space for it.

Much of the construction comes from pre-made items like file cabinets, IKEA counter/sink, Oragami shelving from one of the shopping channels.  We'll just be securing these things and adding doors where called for.  The file cabinet and rack above it was in our kitchen for a long time and we used it to store what we thought we needed to take, placing the items we thought we could do without in the garage for a later garage sale.  We found we traded between the two piles - coming pile and discarding pile -  several times switching this pot for that one we thought we didn't want but really do, etc. until we got it just right.  Everything gained it's own spot in time and through using these things iwhile we cooked in our home kitchen will allow us to be far less frustrated when we are manuvering in a 7' x 16' space because we already know where all these things will be stored in the trailer.  So I put the pots and dishes back in the kitchen cupboads and now we are ready to install the shelving to secure it for our traveling.

We are just now working on the cargo trailer after a cold winter in Colorado.  We worked instead at downsizing and the like until these recent days of warming up.

We have a ways to go, all the electrical to do,in need of  installing the Fantastic vent and the windows and plumbing.  We first had to make sure what routes were going to be available for wires, pipes and pumps as well as wall space for monitors.  But I have to say I ABSOLUTELY AM GOING TO LOVE IT!!

VIDEO TO COME ... SOME DAY.  2 YEAR TRIP TO START BEFORE SUMMER IS OVER.

Thanks. I just ordered two Narrow Twin Tri-fold beds to put side by side with 5" gel memory foam. They are 30" wide by 75" long. A twin is 38" wide and two of those would be 76" (too wide for what we want to do) and a full is only 54" wide. These Narrow Twin sizes give us 60" wide or 6" wider than a full without taking all our space. We are hoping the tri-fold works for lounging and such. Will see. Will pick them up from Walmart in about a week. About $75 each.
