Does anybody use an air fryer

Hi I've been looking at buying an air fryer and I was wondering if anyone here has used one. Something like this:

I just posted on another thread, heating with electricity is very inefficient. I went through the paper work and couldn't find any specs on power consumption. give us some numbers. highdesertranger

The link says it's 1400 watts. Too much power for my dinky system.

I took that 1400 watts a the cooking power. the watts required to run it will be more. anyway I am just guessing they don't actually say one way or the other. highdesertranger

1500W is usually the biggest draw for consumer "just plug it in" devices.

I use a propane version, makes great whole turkeys, baby back ribs, brisket etc.

No exactly portable for van dwelling though.

They are a heating element and a fan. They are rated to use 1400 watts. About the same as a toaster. That is well over 100 amps from the battery. But much longer than it takes to make toast.
